• Your phone number (optional)
• Details about your project: state, approximate crawl space size, its condition, the components you are interested in, your timeline, and the cost range the calculator showed you
• Which page the request came from

When you email us

We receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.

Information collected automatically

Like any website, our hosting provider receives basic technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested. This is used to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use analytics software, advertising trackers, or tracking cookies.

• To pass your project details to contractors serving your area so they can contact you

Who receives your information

Contractors serving your area

When you submit a contractor request, we share your contact details and project details with crawl space contractors serving your ZIP code so they can contact you about quotes. We may be paid for these referrals. Contractors are independent businesses. Once they receive your details, their own privacy practices apply to what they do with them.

Service providers that run the site

We use a small number of providers to operate the site and handle form submissions:

• Cloudflare hosts the site, protects it from attacks, and runs the code that receives form submissions.
• Resend delivers form submissions to us by email.
• Telegram delivers a notification to us when a form is submitted.
• Google Fonts serves the typeface the site uses. Your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, which receive your IP address as part of that request.

Legal requirements

We may disclose information if the law requires it.

We do not sell your information to data brokers, and we do not use it for advertising.

Being contacted by contractors

By submitting a contractor request, you agree that contractors serving your area may contact you by phone, text, or email about your project. If you do not want to be contacted, do not submit the form. If you change your mind later, tell the contractor directly and email us so we stop passing your details on.

Cookies

We do not set cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking.

How long we keep your information

We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to handle your request and for ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Your choices

To ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, email [email protected]. We will delete the copy we hold. Contractors we have already referred you to keep their own copy, so contact them directly as well.

Children

This site is written for homeowners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Security

We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No method of sending or storing data over the internet is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
